In the upcoming weeks, O-matic Software will have several different times available for clients to participate in an online demonstration to view the upcoming release of Import-O-Matic 1.8.

Version 1.8 has a lot of really cool stuff that Import-O-Matic clients have been asking for! The biggest item is probably the new dictionary translation functionality (covered here), but there is plenty of other good stuff too, like improved searching, the ability to auto-pick if only one match is found (or to show the search screen even if no matches are found, allowing you do a quick manual search on any record). IOM 1.8 can now create queries for all constituents that it adds or modifies and all gifts that it adds in a single import, and MUCH more!!
